STEM CELL THERAPY
Stem cell treatment is a new breakthrough of medical treatment. The treatments are giving patients the ability to fight back diseases once thought untreatable. They can be used to replace cells and tissues that have been damaged or lost due to disease.
Stem Cells
A stem cell has unique ability to develop into specialized cell types in the body. Stem cells have two characteristics:
-
Self renewal-the ability to reproduce itself indefinitely through cell division while maintaining an undifferentiated state
-
Potency-the ability to differentiate into specialized cells of distinctly different cell types
Three Types of Stem Cells:
-
Bone marrow derived stem cells
-
Adipose derived stem cells
-
Amnionic tissue derived stem cells
Bone Marrow Stem Cells
The stem cells are harvested from bone marrow:
-
The bone marrow is aspirated with a special needle.
-
The bone marrow is then placed in a centrifuge. The centrifuge spines and separates the stem cells from the the rest of blood components.
-
The stem cells are then drawn into syringe and inject to a patient.
Bone marrow aspiration under guidance of X-Ray
Adipose Stem Cells
The stem cells are collected from adipose tissue:
-
Liposuction is used to collect fat tissue.
-
The fat tissue is then placed in a centrifuge. The centrifuge spines and separates the stem cells from the the rest of fat tissue.
-
The stem cells are then drawn into syringe and inject to a patient.
Embryonic Stem Cells
The stem cells are collected from umbilical cord and placeta:
The stem cells are recovered from live, healthy donors that are pre-screened during pregnancy and harvested aseptically during sterile C-section
How Stem Cell Therapy Work
Stem Cell Therapy we use comes from your body’s own stem cells, embryonic stem cell or embryonic exosome to regenerate damaged tissue. Stem Cell Therapy offers significant potential for the treatment of diseases, not symptoms. The cells are “multi-potent” and they have the ability to differentiate into muscle, tendons, ligaments, bone, and cartilage. Once introduced into the damaged or diseased area, the stem cells can then heal the damaged tissue and regenerate new healthy tissue. It is an innovative therapy that is recommended for a wide variety of chronic conditions.
